Dr Winayak is the senior clinician. The following doctors work regularly at the

Dr Varendar Winayak MBBS DRCOG MFFP
Qualified 1978, University College Hospital, London. Joined the practice in 1985.
Dr Winayak has a number of specialised interests, including gynaecology, family
planning, coronary heart disease and diabetes. He is a member of the local medical
committee, a GP appraiser and assessor of practices, and chairs a number of educational
meetings in the area.
Dr Heong Chong MBBCh BAO
Qualified 1986 Queens University Belfast, Nforthern Ireland. Dr Chong undertakes
regular sessions in the practice.
Dr Michael Jolly MBBS DCH
Qualified in 1957, Rangoon, Burma and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Dr
Jolly has been at the practice since 1996 and undertakes regular sessions. Special
interests include paediatrics.
Dr Mohammed Manzoor Ahmed
MBBS
Qualified in 1971, Hyderabad, India. Dr Ahmed has 10 years' experience in hospital
practice and 24 years' experience in general practice. He undertakes regular
sessions at the practice.
Dr Sammy Modzabi MBBS
Qualified in 1968, Ukraine. Previously worked in hospitals including Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle and Yeovil District Hospital. Dr Modzabi undertakes regular sessions in the practice. Special interests include cardiology.
Practice Manager
The practice manager is Mrs Sheena Winayak BA LLB and she oversees the day-to-day
administration and smooth running of the practice.

Dr Winayak has a PA, Clara Guterres, who assists both Dr Winayak and the practice
manager in the day-to-day running of the practice.
Nurses
The practice has experienced nurses who work under the supervision of the doctors.
The practice nurses see patients via appointment. They are involved in all screening
programmes as well as taking bloods, ear syringing, routine blood pressure checks,
cervical smears and family planning. They offer advice on numerous healthcare
topics, assist in all the clinics, carry out health checks and give advice on
minor ailments.
